Xentaurs is seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Consultant with a passion for Enterprise Cyber Security, the ability to master new technologies and utilize those solutions to solve real world business challenges. You must be a driven individual who has a desire to work with some of the best technical minds in the business. Xentaurs clientele mostly consist of Fortune 500 Healthcare and Financial enterprises. Our consultants support the full life cycle from client needs analysis, through design, build migration and client enablement.

The Consultant is a combination of a Security subject matter expert, trusted advisor, and technology consultant knowledgeable in all things Security and Hybrid Cloud. You will be responsible for design and implementation of Enterprise Cyber Security solutions in highly complex and regulated enterprise environments.


Must be either a US Citizen currently residing within the United States to qualify.

Job requirements

Primary Duty & Responsibilities

  • Understanding of the Enterprise Zero Trust Security model
  • Deep knowledge of modern Zero Trust security tools, platforms, and best practices
  • Development of Architecture designs, Implementation playbooks, Testing plans, and as built Documentation
  • Deep Knowledge and experience in leveraging scripting to automate/accelerate deployments and operations
  • Understanding and experience of public cloud environments such as Azure, or AWS.
  • Create and maintain trusted advisor relationship with clients via clear communications, high quality work product, and listening skills
  • Present and lead various technical workshop with potential and current clients
  • Identify new sales opportunities within current projects and work with sales to drive to closure
  • Stay up to date on the modern security tools and platform offerings
  • Lead a team of highly skilled engineers while playing the Master Architect role to assure delivery of a successful solution
  • Mentor and develop new technical team members

Required skills and expertise

  • Well versed in architectural best practices implementing hybrid Cloud security tools and platforms
  • Must have hands on experience designing and deploying SECURE Cloud infrastructures in AWS or Azure for large enterprise clients spanning multiple Cloud availability zones based on latest industry best practices
  • Outstanding customer focus driving results and solving real world client problems
  • Great communication skills in both face to face and remote formats
  • Customer focus thru credibility, reliability, and trustworthy interactions
  • Composure during challenging times, demonstrate grace under pressure
  • Ability to gain a trusted advisor status with every client and continuously drive success
  • Work with teams across various technical domains including security, operations, network, and software development

Work Experience

  • 10 years of Security, Hybrid Cloud, or Data Center consulting experience
  • 5 year of architecting and deploying modern Zero Trust Hybrid Cloud Solutions
  • 5 years hands on experience with at least three of the following tools platforms
    • Cisco Secure Workload (Tetration), Illumio, Guaridcore, Zscaler
    • ISE, Stealthwatch, Aruba ClearPass
    • Palo Alto Panorama, Checkpoint, Cisco NGFW (ASA/FMC), FortiGate
    • Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Azure Security Center
    • AWS Security, Identify, and Compliance
  • 3 years of experience building Azure or AWS hybrid cloud solutions

Other Preferred Skills

  • Experience in large enterprise environments, specifically Health Care, Financial, or Manufacturing
  • Background in core network and enterprise data center solutions
  • Experience with common SDN / IAC automation tools
    • Python, Terraform, Ansible, Octopus Deploy
